Modbus protocol is a protocol that has been used a lot in industrial sites for a long time because of its simple and stable usage. Also the Modbus protocol supports both serial (Modbus/RTU) and Ethernet (Modbus/TCP) methods, which can be used to suit your needs. Recently, Modbus/TCP is preferred over Modbus/RTU because the basic network configuration is based on Ethernet, so there are also various Gateway that convert Modbus/RTU to Modbus/TCP.

Unlike other Gateways that only support one-to-one, the Smart Gateway Modbus conversion solution can support one-to-one connections, allowing up to 255 Modbus/RTU facilities to be connected using a single Smart Gateway. - It can be configured if you want to connect Modbus/RTU equipment that only supports serial communication using Ethernet.

- Configurations are possible if you want to collect data from multiple Modbus/RTU equipment or send control commands after connecting one Modbus/RTU channel to Ethernet.

- If you want to change the address of the data collected from Modbus/RTU, you can adjust the location of addresses assigned by Slave number, Modbus function.

Modbus/RTU facilities with different Slave addresses are grouped in a multi-drop method, Smart Gateway is - One Smart Gateway can be connected to up to 255 Modbus/RTU protocol support facilities.

- It supports up to 10 Modbus/TCP connections and provides up to 10 Modbus/TCP services using a single Smart Gateway.

- With more than one serial port, data collection can be built faster than with one channel, enabling high-speed data linkage.
