Product Description
System redundancy solution to minimize data loss
In the case of critical facilities, data loss can cause other linked facilities to fail to operate normally.
However, when configured as a single system, problems such as network and hardware cause disconnection of the facility, resulting in communication interruption and data loss. Smart gateways can be configured with system redundancy to prevent data loss due to hardware or network defects.
System Obstacle Measures
- Two Smart Gateway are configured for stable data linkage
- If an active Smart Gateway fails, other waiting Smart Gateway will recognize it
- Smart Gateway on standby to ensure service is not interrupted
- When the Smart Gateway designated as Primary is restored, the primary Smart Gateway will again participate in the communication
Facilities Obstacle Measures
- In the event of a failure of one of the redundant facilities, the Smart Gateway connects communication with the functioning facility to prevent data loss.
Network Obstacle Measures
- In the event of a network failure with a redundant facility, it is possible to configure the Smart Gateway waiting to find a connectable network path and resume communication.
It supports connection with redundant facilities for stable data connection and control from facilities, can be configured with redundancy,
and data collection and control commands can be transmitted through other waiting Smart Gateway even if one Smart Gateway fails.
